Plaid Trees - Quilted Pillow Cover #1043

This handmade pillow cover was created by upcycling thrifted plaid dress shirts and a variety of muslin fabrics left over from other projects.  All materials are clean, but the pieced fabrics are not new nor are they all from the same source, so there may be some uneven coloring.  For instance, some muslin blocks are white, some are cream, etc.  Please see photos for details.  The pillow top is made as a quilt.  The fabrics are traditionally pieced into a quilt top, then layered with batting, a backing material, and quilted.  The pillow cover is created with the addition of a burgundy fabric on the reverse side with an envelope opening that will accommodate a 16" x 16" pillow form.  There is top stitching all around the edge of the pillow.  This listing is for the handmade pillow cover only.  The pillow form is not included.   The pillow cover itself is 15.25" w x 17.5" h.
